The Industrial Systems Engineering speciality trains multiskilled general engineers who are able to take responsibility of industrial production.

Industrial Systems Engineers undertake general cross-training that enables them to take responsibility of industrial production in:

  • Design (mechanics, electronics and information technology)
  • Industrial production operation and management

  • electrical machinery and power electronics
  • microcontrollers and digital electronics
  • controllers and networks and supervision
  • fluid mechanics with an Eiffel-type wind tunnel and another Rateau-type turbine
  • aerodynamics with a subsonic wind tunnel
  • hydraulics and a pneumatic bench
  • characterisation of the mechanical properties of materials and experimental vibrations

Placements in France and abroad:

  • Year 4: placement or industrial assignment lasting 16 weeks
  • Year 5: 25-week placement
