The company plays a key role in training engineering students at the INSA Centre Val de Loire, through placements and apprenticeships. By recruiting from within our Institute, your company will gain an engineer with renowned technical skills, who is a responsible citzen capable of adapting to the current economic and social environment.

Placements: help to train your future employees

Placements are a core feature of courses taught at the INSA Centre Val de Loire. Our engineering students get to do at least 11 months’ worth of placements over their course. The aim is to gain professional expertise and insight into a company’s environment.

Three types of placement are taken during our engineering courses:

  • an initial work-experience placement lasting 4 weeks at the end of Year 1 (June-August);
  • an industrial placement lasting 16 weeks at the end of Year 4 (April-August);
  • an end-of-course placement lasting 24 weeks (February-August).
