Education
The Centre Val de Loire INSA stays true to the INSA training model, which means that the courses are taught over five years, with gradual specialisation.
Five-year courses
The outline is as follows:
- A first year following the core syllabus: the objective is to give students a grounding for being able to continue their studies, whatever their pre-specialisation.
 - A second year of gradual specialisation: pre-specialisation in a major subject area, this gradually prepares students for going into one of four specialities.

These first two years form the Engineering Science and Technology (STPI) department.
- Three years of specialisation: these years define the degree being taken by giving students the chance to customise their course through the options they choose.

FIVE speciality departments
- Industrial Risk Control department (MRI)
 - Information Technology and Cybersecurity department (STI)
 - Industrial Systems Engineering department (GSI)
 - Energy, Risks and the Environment department (ERE), apprenticeship course.
 - School of nature and landscape architecture (ENP)
